Space Invaders

My house has been invaded by humans from another land.

My housemates for the week are Paul, Larisa, Karen, Curtis, Jon, Chris and Emily, while my normal humans are sleeping at a hotel for a few nights.



I did get the house to myself for a few hours today while evenyone went and had Thanksgiving dinner and to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. From the pictures it looks like it was a full house today.



Don't worry, I sampled the turkey to make sure it was edible and purrhaps later I will find some leftover cake. (I think there was enough that there should be some leftovers somewhere.)

"Then" and "Now" Photos

I thought it was time for some "then" and "now" photos. This first picture is me when the humans first brought me home.

This 2nd photo was taken just last week. As you can tell I have grown into a fine looking cat, if I do say so myself.

The last photo is me in my favorite place to lay and keep watch, of course mom (the female human) took this picture while I was taking a little cat nap. It's a hard job taking care of the humans but someone has to do it.

Grandparents Day

A meow to the wise. It appears to me that someone is trying for favorite Grandchild. Guess who showed up to visit his grandparents on "Grandparents Day". I think I will have to cuddle and purr a little more so I don't loss my spot. I might not be a bad idea if the other children out there made the presence known with a card or a call. I think it would be purr-fect.

I really had a good time while the company was here. Andrea played with me and didn't ask for extra cuddles. It's been rather quiet here since they left. I need more company. Anyone up for coming to visit.

Out of Town Guests

The humans have forgotten about my love for blogging and kept blocking my entry into the computer room. Just because I get a little curious about what is printing and get in the way a few times does not justify keeping me away from posting on my blog. Apparently they do not realize how much my public has missed me. Luckily they are busy this week with company and I may have wandered in to type a quick message while they were not looking.

Our guests this week came all the way from Texas. I am not really sure where Texas is, but it sounds far away, or at least my leach won't let me go that far. But where ever they are from, it doesn't matter, all I know is I am getting lots of attention and that is all that matters.

I will try to have the human lady post pictures of the foreigners later.

Camping

Look at me. I tried to get to go with them when they were going camping. I even found me a place to ride. But it didn't work. I had to stay home alone. They did come and check on me alot though. I don't think they trust me to stay long periods of time by my self. But next time. While the humans are away the cat will play.

My NEW tent!

See what i got. I have my own tent/house/carrier now. They can't leave me at home anymore. Where they go I go.

The outside world.

Every morning I get to go outside. But as you can see I am still connected. Some days I would really like to be able to chase the birds, but it doesn't bother me too much.

Mondays

Mondays are always change the beds day. My favorite. Somedays I can make it last all day.

Father's Day

Father's day is great. Here I am with the male human who we know as dad. It's a good thing I am here or he wouldn't have any kids at home to celebrate with. It's hard, but someone has to do it.

The Wall

Here I am again, doing my part to keep everything running smoothly. The humans are putting up a wooden baracade. I think they hoping they can keep me confined. Tee-Hee!!!! I am just waiting to put it to the test.

I can't wait for this tree to get a little bigger, sometimes its really hard to find the shade, and you know how hard it can be supervising the humans. you would think they would give me a hard hat.

Me, the Supervisor

Here I am supervising the actual putting the wire in the building. I don't know what these humans would do without my help. I can't wait till we start painting the outside.

Some of you are probably wondering what I do with my days beside sleep, eat and mess in my litter box. Well I have to supervise the activities of the humans who live here. Sometimes they try to do things they shouldn't. Today I am supervising the male human as he attempts to run electricity to his new old building. He says it's to keep the lawn equipment in but I think it is someplace he can go when he wants to be alone or is in trouble.

Here I am inspecting the little ditch he had to dig to run the wire from the garage to the building.

I think he did an okay job with the flowers. They sure smell good. I think everyone should take time to smell the roses. I won't say anything about rose tinted glasses, but I do hope that today everything is coming up roses for everyone who reads this blog.

BIRTHDAY WISHES!!

Today is the human lady Jessie's birthday. I tried to ask her how old she is, but I don't think she understood me. Either that our she isn't telling.

Yesterday, the bald man, Keith gave her some roses. The flowers are pretty and should make a pretty good toy for me to play with. I will see if I can get her to post a picture of the flowers later.

Instead of the traditional birthday cake, rumor has it, that she is going to have a birthday pie. Maybe if I am really good today. And make up for the messes I made yesterday, I can get a little taste!!

The human lady, Jessie thought I should share this with everyone. It's the first time these three have been together in years. There was cameras everywhere for this special event, it was like they were famous or something. Sadly there were no frog shows this time though. Who knew - a blonde, redhead and a brunette - sorry the blonde is married, and she has a cat too.

Sure is nice to get my bed back. I had to work hard at getting it soft enough to lay on again. It really wore me out. Some times it's tuff just being me.
